Professor Rahmat Budiarto received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia and his Master of Engineering and Doctor of Engineering in Intelligent Systems from Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan.
 

Professor Rahmat Budiarto has spent more than 11 years as academic staff at School of Computer Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). His research interest are Next Generation Network including IPv6 and smart networks, Intelligent Network Monitoring System & Security, Intelligent Systems for Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery Using Evolving Connectionist Systems, and Brain Modeling.

Associate Professor Hatim Mohamad Tahir received his BSc degree in Computer Science from Northrop University, (USA) and his MSc. degree in Computer Science from Indiana State University, (USA).
 

Dr. Osman Ghazali received his Bachelor of Information Technology, Master Science of Information Technology and PhD of Information Technology (Computer Network) from Universiti Utara Malaysia in 1994, 1996 and 2008 respectively. He is actively pursuing research and supervising postgraduate students in the area of distributed computing an computer networks.

Dr. Massudi Mahmuddin obtained his PhD in 2008 in the areas of system engineering, Cardiff University, United Kingdom. He is currently a senior lecturer with Department of Computer Science, School of Computing, Universiti Utara Malaysia. During last 10 years of his stay at the school, his teaching research and development interests have been in the areas of technical and social aspect of computing, computational intelligent and expert system.
 

Dr. Massudi Mahmuddin’s research interests are in multi-disciplinary areas, such as Technical and Social Aspect of Computing, Computational Intelligent and Expert System.

Dr. Angela Amphawan received her B.Eng. (Hons.) degree in Electronics Engineering majoring in Telecommunications and M.Eng.Sc. Degree in Mobile Communications Engineering from Multimedia University, Selangor, Malaysia.  She later received her Ph.D. degree from the Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford, United Kingdom.

Mohammed M. Kadhum received his PhD degree in Computer Sciences from University Utara Malaysia in 2010. He is doing his post doctorate in Traffic Engineering and Bandwidth Provisioning at Queens University in Canada.
 

Dr. Ahmad Suki received his Diploma, Bachelor and Master degree in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).  He later received his Ph.D. degree from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).
 

Dr. Ahmed Suki Che Mohamed Arif’s doctoral research, he has designed a new shaped video rate algorithm, referred to as Slight Delay - Shaped Variable Bit Rate (SD-SVBR), which is aimed at controlling the video rate for video application transmission over the Internet.  This new algorithm is capable of producing a high video rate and at the same time a better quantization parameter (QP) stability video sequence. In addition, the video rate is shaped efficiently in order to prevent unwanted sharp increment or decrement, and to avoid buffer overflow. His research interests are in multi areas such as Video Transmission Over the Internet, Network Transport Protocol, Distributed System, and Network Traffic Analysis/Engineering.

Dr. Kashif Nisar received his first degree Bachelor in Computer Science from Karachi, Pakistan and his MS degree in Information Technology from the Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). He received his PhD degree in Computer Networks (specializing in WLANs, VoIP, IPv6 and he proposed a novel Voice Priority Queue (VPQ) scheduling system model) from the Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) in the Malaysia.
 

Dr. Kashif’s research interests are in multi-disciplinary areas, including Real-time Multimedia Technologies, Network Performance, Network Traffic Engineering, Wireless and Mobile Networking, Local Area Networking, Telecommunications/Network Management, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), Mobile Ad Hoc Networks, Audio/Video Transport Extensions, Call Control UUI Service for SIP, Audio/Video Transport Payloads, VoIP, IPv6, and evaluation of wireless networks.

Adib M.Monzer Habbal received his BSc degree in Computer Engineering and post graduate Diploma in Informatics Engineering from Aleppo University, Syria, in 2003 and 2005 respectively. In March 2007, he received the MS degree in Information Technology from University Utara Malaysia. He has been awarded a scholarship from Syrian Government to do his Master studies as a result of his high grade 2003.
